"Karagatan" is an ongoing series of works referring to water, bodies of water, and our relationships with them. One of the references for the series is the ancient super-ocean Panthalassa, the largest ocean the Earth has ever seen.

A quote that I often think of for this series is from Rachel Carson's 1951 book titled The Sea Around Us, where she wrote: “over eons of time, the sea has grown ever more bitter with the salt of the continents.”

"karagatan" is the Filipino word for ocean.
